perfectly located for landmark exploration and waterfront strolls
I had a lovely stay with kind and attentive staff, enjoying the modern decor and spacious King Room just a short stroll away from the gorgeous Oban Marina and the impressive St Columba's Cathedral, making every day a new adventure filled with beautiful views. the only downside was that the common areas seemed a bit dated and could use some updates.

The breakfast was really good, served fresh and hot, which made waking up worthwhile. Plus, the view from our room was amazing. I mean, how often do you wake up to such a sight? It was a sight worth torturing myself at that cardiac hill to see.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still acceptable for what we got.

The views from the Twin Room with a View are truly stunning, providing a picturesque sight over the water that made the morning more enjoyable. The room itself is spacious, featuring clean decor and a comfortable layout, making it easy to feel at ease after a long day.
The sash windows in the Twin Room do little to mitigate the noise of the traffic outside, leading to a less than restful night’s sleep. Breakfast options were limited to a basic continental selection, which didn’t meet expectations for a hot meal, and the bedside lamp's switch is inconveniently located behind the pillows, making it a hassle to operate. The hotel common areas could use a refresh as well. they felt slightly dated and could benefit from some attention.

It was just a great match for a weekend jaunt in Oban with attractive and competitive value for money. The view from our room overlooking the harbor was fantastic and added a lovely touch to our stay. If you're sensitive to noise, consider bringing earplugs for a better night's sleep.

had a lovely stay in the king room, it was super spacious and had a great view. the hotel is only a 5 min walk to the city center which was really convenient. enjoyed a comfy bed and an excellent shower, staff were friendly too! also, there’s a small bar on-site which was nice for a drink after a long day exploring.
the parking is kinda tight and it was a bit tricky getting to the car park. also, the decor felt a lil outdated but it adds to the charm i guess.

The room offered a stunning sea view and was impressively spacious, contributing to a very comfortable stay. The staff were particularly kind and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Though the decor was modern, the small TV in the sitting area could be improved, as the larger one at the foot of the bed was the main highlight. Finding a restaurant nearby for a delicious hot breakfast was a pleasant bonus.
